CONCENTRIC POSITIONS

CONTROLLER - CENTENNIAL, COLORADO

We are seeking a Controller to handle all internal accounting operations of the company, including the issuance of financial reports, maintenance of a system of accounting records, and development of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of the company’s reported financial results, and ensure that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).The Controller will work very closely with Department Directors to streamline reporting efforts, and several other ad hoc projects directly related to the integration and continued organic growth of the organization.

The Controller position requires excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, communication, organizational, and computer skills, as well as the ability to exercise professional discretion and discernment, independent judgment, and business acumen. Without exception, the Controller position requires a proven track record of trustworthiness, personal accountability, and exceptional ethics.

The successful candidate will offer experience and skills related to complete financial reporting in accordance with GAAP, month-end and year-end closing, creating a comprehensive set of internal controls to mitigate risk, cash management, and will be one who thrives in a fast-growing entrepreneurial environment and enjoys cross-functional collaboration. This position is located in our Centennial, Colorado, headquarters.

QUALIFICATIONS

The candidate must have substantial experience in all areas of the accounting department and be responsible in a hands-on manner for all accounting activities. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting or Finance with a Master’s degree preferred. Minimum 5 years of experience in a Controller or Accounting Manager role with complete ownership of the monthly close process. Active CPA required. Experience in a small privately held, high-growth company is preferred. Strong quantitative analysis capabilities, with the ability to read, analyze, interpret and explain complex financial data; translating findings into actionable results, committed team player and collaborator with strong sense of urgency, integrity and entrepreneurial spirit.

SCIENTIST, PROCESS DEVELOPMENT - MONTREAL, QUEBEC

We are seeking a Scientist, Process Development to support fermentation optimization, characterization and testing of the company’s microbial technologies and products at our Montreal, Quebec location. This hands-on candidate will have experience in optimizing and quantifying microbial fermentation processes and in industrial biotechnology. This person will participate in the execution of deliverables including process development/optimization and scale-up with the appropriate level of qualification/validation. This person will also design and conduct experiments, analyze samples, track quality parameters, author documents and identify potential IP areas.

The successful candidate will be one who thrives in a fast-growing entrepreneurial environment and enjoys cross-functional collaboration.

QUALIFICATIONS

The candidate must have substantial experience in the areas of microbial fermentation, process development and recovery with a Ph.D. in microbial physiology, chemical engineering or related field. Experience in an industrial setting is strongly preferred. Regional Account Manager, South Saskatchewan

We are currently seeking a Regional Account Manager for South Saskatchewan. This exciting opportunity will be a challenge for a dedicated professional who excels at building customer relationships and is a motivated self-starter. The successful candidate will participate in the creation of a dynamic development, sales and marketing team to better serve the South Saskatchewan agriculture industry.

QUALIFICATIONS

The candidate must have a degree in Agriculture, Business or related field with 3-5 years minimum related experience in sales and/or the agronomy sector of agriculture. Knowledge and understanding of crop production and agronomy with nutrition experience will be considered as additional assets.This position requires a self-motivated, results driven, collaborative communicator. The candidate must have experience in agreement negotiation, as he/she will be responsible for managing sales of value added seed, soil and in-crop plant nutrients to the ag-retail network throughout the region. Willingness to travel is a must.
